Founded in January 2007, we are a private company based in Mauritius. In our ongoing expansion, HPL has been investing in local pipe and fitting manufacturing since 2012. We have adopted cutting-edge, fully automated machines and technologies to enhance our production capabilities. Our products are distributed both locally and exported to neighboring countries, including Seychelles and Madagascar.
Our mission is to be the most favoured brand amongst our customers. HPL is proud of its commitment to exacting standards and providing high quality products and total customer satisfaction through high level of service.
Our vision is to be the leader in the pipes industry in the region.
The company has invested in three PVC lines for sizes 20 mm to 160mm and a fourth machine is envisaged by end of this year which will cater for sizes range up to 315 mm.
Our other machines are for production of PE pipes for potable water from size 16 mm to 250 mm. We also manufacture PP single wall corrugated pipes from size 16mm to 32mm. The company has also invested in production of HTA pipes for hot-water applications. Our products are all branded under 4 brand names namely: Aquadrain for all drainage applications, Aquasafe for all water pipes applications, Aquaduct for all ducting applications and recently Winflo fittings and hoses.
Quality Assurance
In order to ensure high quality products, all our products are tested in house at time of production and before delivery. Again the company has not hesitated to invest above Rs 5.0m in testing equipments from India to ensure the quality of products being offered to our clients. All our testing equipments are calibrated and certified by competent bodies in Mauritius. We have invested in high tech laboratory equipments with the complete range to ensure that the customers get the best products at all time.
Advanced Technology
We, at Hardwares Point Ltd, always strive for research and development. We are in partnership with an international; research and development centre with experts and advanced equipments providing a good experimented platform to develop new products. We will constantly research and develop the latest technology to be amongst the leading position in the plastic industry. We are all the time working with our partners to find ways to bring new products on the market which are relatively high quality at low price. We have worked out our own formulations as far as pvc pipes are concerned and always strive to improve every year. We do not use lead in our products and thus safe for water applications. That’s why we call it Aquasafe.
Customer Service
Hardwares Point Ltd attaches great importance to customer service providing the flexible and best solution to satisfy the various needs of our customers. We will continue valuing our customers with utmost priority and improving customer service with innovation. Self encouraged staffs are always in pursuit of excellence for the sole purpose of total customer satisfaction.
Employment
The company is currently employing 18 persons. With its expansion program we are looking at a total of around 30 people to work in the factory.
Experience
The company has been dealing in pipes and fittings for the past 15 years and has exported many products during these years. We have also been selling our pipes to nearly all hardware shops locally. We have also supplied to local contractors and the Central Water Authority in Mauritius. We have also exported to the Public Utilities Corporation in Seychelles 160mm HDPE pipes for their projects and various associated fittings. The Managing Director Mr Rakesh Dinoo reckons more than 20 years of experience in the field of pipes and fittings and very much aware of the latest developments and is endeavored to bring new technologies and new products to contractors and our clients in all sectors to facilitate their process.
Social Responsibility
In line with the government’s strategy to encourage companies’ towards more social responsibility, Hardwares Point Ltd has made the CSR a core part of its development strategy. Part of our revenue is dedicated to social and environmental projects. The company will pursue its endeavor towards Maurice ILE Durable project.
